In order to make lanarkweather.org the best darned weather website in Lanark County we need some things to help make it the best. Of those things, this list represents those items that are the hardest to get, more expensive items that we need. If you can donate one or help with the purchase of something, you will be added to our sponsors list and gain a place on our website that is related to your gift. As an example, if you donated a digital camera you would would get your recognition in the photo gallery as well as on the sponsor page and periodically elsewhere on the site. In addition, your logo could be placed on the chase truck as well where it will be seen year 'round.
So, please take the time to have a look and see if you can help us out. If you just wish to make a financial donation, please let me know by email at Donations or you can reach us by going to the contacts page. Your help here will make a big difference in what happens on these pages. Thank you for visiting my wish list page! Stephen Mayne, Founder In order to provide the maximum service that can be attained, certain equipment is required. For data collection on site or on the road, a reliable set of instruments is required. They can be either analog or digital but for certain items it would be desirable to have both. Analog instruments tend to be more stable and less likely to become inaccurate but the digital types are more easily mated to the computer and the web. By having both, the digital types can be checked for accuarcy against the analog ones. This ensures the overall accuracy of the data collected. We cannot do all this without some help from outside. Whether a company or an individual, any and all support is helpful. It doesn't matter whether the equipment is new or used so long as it works or can be fixed. Below you will find a list of items on our wish list...

I am also looking for older weather instruments for display at schools when out giving talks or presentations. The children love to be able to touch and look with their hands. If you have any instruments you no longer need, please feel free to contact me at (613) 253-2215 or (613) 257-9799 or by
