December has brought us our first good snow storm of the season dumping close to 25cm of fresh snow on the region. See the lin belwo for more details...
Here we have included an album of images from the Lanark County area and a few from Kanata as well from the remnants of Hurricane Frances. The storm system hit eastern Ontario 12 hours later than expected but when it arraived, it arrived with a vengence. Weather records for total rainfalls from a single storm were broken as more than 4 to 5 inches fell in parts of eatsern Ontario. The link can be foudn in the menu on the right-hand side of this page.
Also, found here is the chase log and video captures from the storms that raced through eastern Ontario on August 10th, 2004. There a number of images here so I have had to reduce the resolution and size of the images to make them all fit and load in reasonable time for those of us stuck with dial up service. More images are coming from the damage survey in Burnstown but for now I have only gotten the chase log images done with more detail to follow.
